Wilson’s Mills Elementary

Raising Awareness of Autism and Child Abuse Prevention

By Nathanael Shelton | Director of Communication | Johnston County Public Schools March 19, 2018

Wilson’s Mills Elementary is working to bring awareness to both autism and child abuse prevention with a school donation drive.

The school will be accepting $1 donations to place a pinwheel, with the donor’s name on it, in front of the school. Donations will be accepted through March 28.

A pinwheel garden will be planted April 9. All proceeds will be divided between Harbor House and the NC Autism Society. Representatives from both the NC Autism Society and Harbor House will also be at the school on April 9, to receive a check from the pinwheel donations.
